New soul

New soul

A Poem by Latifa
"

reborn, new age.

"
I'm a new soul
Drenched in possibilities
Pensive, silent
I sit on the ashes of the defeated beasts
I walk upon the pavements of sullen streets
Shrugging my shoulders and dusting my sleeves
I put my feet into
The purging seas
And I let the waves heal my weary veins

We are reborn many times in our lives. I like the theme of this one...hope is something we need to get through each day. ;-)

The purging seas
And I let the waves heal my weary veins
There is something so healing about the ocean -
I love the hopeful tone of this one Latifa. You are so talented. I never tire of reading "you"

This is very thinkable and meaningful poem....
How any one reborn? It is a different subject but ye to kamal ka hai(but it is awesome). A very different kind of poetry. .
Love this.
