Commuter

Commuter

A Poem by Brenda Alicia
"

Do your thoughts burden you or carry you? How can we bridge this silence?

"
Avoiding Glances,
Simple as giving out Second Chances..
A regular plight faced,
Whether fight or flight.
This connection we can’t seem to evade.
To claim domain is a desired right.
Avoiding glances-
Yet, hoping for second chances,
Can become a burden; to be loved.
To love;
in a simple glance.
What more can we give;
when silence is our only bridge.
Where shadows echo,
We choose to stand.
