REJOICE!

REJOICE!

A Poem by The Tao of Bri
"

sucky but i needed to type soemthig so I can go to bed.. I will fix it later of erase it.

"

REJOICE!

A feather slices the water's surface

to open the lake to breathe.

Another follows through with purpose

joined by more with gaggled glee.

The geese have returned,

these fair weathered friends,

no winter have they learned.

Soon though the loons will come in

back from the frozen sea.

Lilacs will bloom in stunning explosions

as the crocus buds burst in triumph

for another ill season has been beat.

With the haunting tune, their evening croon

the loons will begin to teach me.

For I am them and they are me

~ I will learn to fly out to sea.

What an excellent poem ! You better not delete this or I will hound you to repost it. Really enjoyed the connection to nature . The ebb and flow of your words keep the reader captive to the very end."The ladd reckons himself a poet" Very well done my friend ! Many kudos to you.

For I am them and they are me
~ I will learn to fly out to sea.

Sounds free and inviting. Free like the wind. Good rhyme throughout.
