Feeling Alone

Feeling Alone

A Poem by Brian M. Peeples

She’d shown us the way,

and all we had done

was laugh in her face,

mocking the strangeness

of this magnificent place,

that she’d once called home.

And now, I feel alone.

Brian M. Peeples
In the briefest of words, I attempted to paint a scene of conflict between Mother Earth and Humankind.

This is very brief, but I suppose that's what makes it unique. It tells a story in only a few lines.

Keep writing. You have a talent for it
