An Imagination's Star

There is a star in the sky,

that has lead me to a new realm;

a door of sorts, you might say.

And this star, I think,

has brought me to a brand new day

where skies are no longer gray,

and the Sun has much to say;

and perhaps there might be a way

to catapult myself over and under,

from here to all the way over yonder,

so that I may wander on through

the old and find myself in the new

in which, I don’t entirely mind,

as it is quite difficult to find

the lost realm of insanity’s brew.

And it so happens that,

as timeless as things may appear,

there is truly nothing to fear.

Imagination is all that one may need,

to take flight and flutter and find

one’s self just where they need to be.
