Libra Rising

Libra Rising

A Poem by BrightEyes
"

-written for Yvonne, I'm really happy to have found this one!

"

Most days, she smiles

Lending inspiration

Lifting lost souls

From depths of despair

Laughter and love abound

These are the brighter days

When sunshine is bountiful

Some days, she cries

For loved ones lost

Time wasted

Regret rains down

Remorse her companion

These are darker days

Where only storm clouds live

If power were mine

And I one gift to give

A mirror would I craft

For her to look upon

Reflected there her spirit

Ever shining; ever strong

She is Libra Rising

This is a beautiful and very fitting tribute to our dear friend here at the cafe. I love these eloquent descriptions. These are such kind words.

I always say the greatest gift you can give someone is to let them see how beautiful they are through your eyes. So many people discredit themselves these days. This poem is obviously written for a beauitful soul, beautiful person. I hope she can see how beautiful she is.
The poem is touching and well written (of course all of yours are) I love the contrast between the first and second stanza - nicely mirrored in oppostion but also how the darker days are compassionately understood and not brooding - you gain the readers sympathy here and bring us closer instead of the darkness seperating or disconnecting. Truly inspirational.

This is a beautiful and touching tribute to someone you so obviously care about. Reading this I am carried away on the flow of this piece and ride the uplifting movement all the way to the summit of your adoration
for this woman. This is a free flowing and exceptional piece. Great Job.

The world is blessed by the sweet hands of the people who use them to help soften the suffering. They are our angels... Bright Eyed Angels.
