Good-bye

Good-bye

A Poem by Fayla Z. Valentine
"

I wrote this for my friend who had died in a fire when he was only ten years old . It means a lot to me and I hope that some of you can relate to it in some way.

"
That day replays in my mind.
Trying to say good-bye, but tears only fall.
I lie the flower down on your casket, and whisper good-bye.
As they start to lower your casket the urge to run goes through me,
I resist and walk away.
As i wipe away the tears, and whisper good-bye.
