Acrostic about her...

Acrostic about her...

A Poem by Min-Hee Choi
"

I was up all night writing, I realized that I have not written an acrostic poem since fourth grade. So I tried. Words on the side spell out the name of the girl I like. Gosh, acrostics are difficult.

"

eyes that see everything, the things I try to hide

legs smooth and graceful, like an elegant dancer

intense personality, as strong as a wildfire

zinnias are so vibrant, yet not as lively as she

as sweet as cotton candy, as rare as snow in the spring

brimming with happiness, glowing with joy

effortless beauty, inside and out

teeth as white as the first snow of the winter

hair that flows onto her shoulders, like the ocean flows to the shore

regal  like a queen, but as down-to-earth as a peasant

every glance at her makes me want her to myself even more

independent like a mountain, strong even when a great force tries to hurt her

time with her is like a moment with an angel

all of her sings the most beautiful melody, of love, of hope, of her

nothing and no one compares to her

Author's Note

Min-Hee Choi
Yeah, some of the word choices are a little strange at the beginning of each line. Especially the Z one. Yeah, it was kinda difficult for me to do the acrostic. Any advice on creating better acrostics?
