Living in darkness.

As I walk through the darkness,
I search for a hand,
Not knowing how far I am going,
I slowly fade away,
Tears roll down my cheek,
I feel so lost and confused,
My feet fall out beneath me,
And I feel myself start to fall,
Into a never ending black hole,
Ive been falling in this hole for 15 years,
Life filled with rejection, and pain,
I have yet to be caught by somone and I still keep on falling,
When will things change,
When will I finally be pulled out of this wretched, heart menacing darkness?

Your very good a holding a solid metaphor, or visual if you will, throughout your pieces. I think sometimes in our lives, we dont know what to do. We look back on our life and assume things. 15 years is a heck of a long time to be falling... And I'm sorry you have to endure it. Maybe soon, that someone will catch you, but you must keep looking.
