Lessons From Ghosts

Initially a verse from a contest poem.

I greet my contemporaries while gathering notes from a cemetery.
Not deceased, yet my soul has touched ghosts before.
From the depths of tombs,
I flew to new worlds
from the portals of literary phantoms.
