Twilight memory

Twilight memory

A Poem by Bruna Digregorio

I felt that my existence here

was becoming a distorted

twilight memory

and without a doubt

a terrible destiny.

Those who have a memory

are able to live

in the fragile

present moment.

Understanding the truth

is your only choice,

reclaiming a dark past

to build a brighter future.

Sometimes a moment

becomes a memory

the instant it’s happening

because it is so true,

so pure and so significant

you want to capture it forever.

This is one of my favorites of yours. I like the feeling that it evokes inside, and how it makes the reader identify with those precious moments of life.

Yes, sometimes moments become instant memories, so powerful that we shall remember them forever. Beautifully captured moment.
