As We Lie

As We Lie

A Poem by Bryce Simonds
"

9th

"

As we lie under the lush green tree
The stars shine bright for you and me
The racing river beside us dies
With you is where my whole world lies

The lush green tree's leaves will die
Blown by the wind to touch the sky
And you and I will die too
But even then I will always love you

I like your use of adjectives =] It's a really cute poem.

Punctuation:
"As we lie under the lush green tree,
The stars shine bright for you and me.
The racing river beside us dies,
With you is where my whole world lies.

The lush green trees leaves will die;
Blown by the wind to touch the sky.
You and I will die too;
Even then I will always love you"
