My father and me were a pair out of three.A Poem by Bubba Jones
You two are the same,
is what they proclaim. "As long as you're alive, he will be too", Seems to be everyone's view. The man he was, I wish to be. My father and me were a pair out of three. His smile, his gait, His hair, his weight. The way he laughed, the way he ate. He in me, is all they can see. My father and me were a pair out of three The way he talked, the way he sat. The way he looked, the way he spat. His charm, his wit, it's what they see. My father and me were a pair out of three. If you must know, please make no fuss. The three were: Him, Me, and Us © 2016 Bubba JonesFeatured Review
