Your wonder and amazement wear thin in the hearts of all

You have laid yourself before millions just like you 

made  eaten  loved  devoured  

Turned to getting passed over and even viewed unworthy to be around by most  

Tucking yourself away on some back shelf despite the fingerprint smudges and the price slashes 

You lay waiting for just one you can make happy, hoping with a shelf life of forever
