always darkest

always darkest

A Poem by Budd Black

Darkness overtakes the light
The hero is losing the fight
The sun flees the night
The hero trembles in fright
The moon alone is bright
Large, solitary, white
Piercing the dark with its might
The hero regains his sight
Again a shining Knight
The darkness feels his bite
And retreats from what is right

the hero was flying a kite at a very incredible height.
