Child's Pose

Child's Pose

A Poem by Melaniespace

For a lack of better words,
A demon lurks behind each eye,
Haunting,
taunting,
a flourishing world,
Inflamed all cells grow red,

Doomed to decay,
Vile flesh pleats away,
Here in a child's pose,
A noose roped out rear,

The fear is so great,
Growth calibrates to hate,
Polluting the masses,
With matter so savage,

The imbalance divides,
Seeks and thrives,
New set points achieved,
By foreigners' deeds.
