Whisper Please

Whisper Please

A Poem by Lily M. Noithe
"

My first real poem a long long time ago. Still one of my favourites.

"

When the wind whispers,

And the willows weep,

His silent glory He shall reap.

His mane is flowing,

His emerald eyes glowing,

As He whispers His plea.

Whisper Please,

I shall not tease,

His hooves are pounding;

Trumpets are sounding.

His nostrils are flaring,

All He does is daring,

As He whispers His plea.

Whisper Please,

Your instructions,

No need for a fatal production,

For the soul hidden low in His silky stow,

His past He does forever tow.

As the wind whips by,

His rider does cry,

On a ride giving no mercy,

And hinting no end,

As He whispers His plea.

Whisper Please,

Your answer to the spirits,

As the sky parts,

So your new life can start.

He doesn't belong below,

Oh no,

as He whispers His plea.

Thanks, guys :) it's always been one of my favourites. Because it's not just about a horse. It's death :) I like death. LOL

A very intriguing write. The flow went perfectly well and the imagery was also very well done, the rhyming went well. You have a very imaginitive mind and this is what I consider a true piece of art. Keep it up.

A very wonderful write, felt soft and kind of sad in a way, but i liked it.
