To Whomever

To Whomever

A Poem by Lily M. Noithe
"

Old one from 2007 =) Just revised and took out a stanza I didn't feel fit.

"
Dear To Whomever This Concerns,
my life is running along many crooked turns.
It is hard to know which bridge to cross,
and which to burn.

It looks like I am a living doubt!
Why must failure and solitude
be an imminent truth,
only to make way
for my demise to sprout?

Dear To Whomever This Concerns,
my life is following a thousand blurred turns.
It is difficult to know which bridge to cross,
and which to burn.

With life I'm not content;
my mind always seems too bent!
So,
Dear to Whomever This Concerns:
I don't know if I will be here
when and if you ever have the chance to read this.
And if you do happen to shed a tear,
I'm afraid I won't be the one you truly miss.
