Games

Games

A Poem by buterfligirl

You think it's a game,

What we play

You think it's fun,

What we do

You don't understand

The games are horrible

They are death and destruction

They destroy everything in their path

You think they're right,

What they say

You think it's not real,

What happens

Then you're dead

The games are real,

They hurt, they kill,

The games that we play

Woah, now that sounds like one helluva serious game to me. Can we all join in?

This is deep, touching, serious and beautiful. To tell you the truth there are people in the world who I really wish could see this poem because maybe, just maybe it would make them change their actions. Very well done indeed.

Awesome write... I love the way you tie it all in together in the end. Games are fun but they do hurt in the end... at least one person. Great job with this one
