"Chicken flue..."

"Chicken flue..."

A Poem by SheWhoWillNotBeNamed

"Chicken flue..."

Anthrax, SARS, mad cow disease, chicken flue,
what will be next?
Death chases death! illness chases illness...
People are starving so as not to eat the virused
product. Ha! Ha!
Is this genius plan going to solve everything?
No viruses are needed, no illnesses, no plagues
for human race to extinct.
We die every day...
We're like bees, scroungers...
we nail those stings, we inject our poison, our venom.
Heart - ? what is it?
it's a shield made of plasticine, into which thorns are nailed.
The frequency with which they are being shot
is higher than the frequency of breathing in
and breathing ou... t... t... t... T!!!
This noise goes throughout me!
I died.
Because of chicken flue.

This was quite brilliant and I enjoyed the voice of the speaker of this poem...although, it is quite sad that he they died from the chicken flue. Well written and smart!
