Life across the spectrum.

In life, there is glory and defeat

But in love, it’s triumph and disaster

Life holds unbearable twists of fate

But love twist until you cant breath

 

Glory paints a smile on your face

And a glow in your beaming eyes

But triumph leaves a permanent trace

Of happiness that cannot be erased

 

Defeat comes in tears and red faces

A disappointment that stays strong

But disaster is a fear for your life

Not for is to be gone, but for it to be lost

 

Lost in the silence of confusion

Lost in the echo of your own conscience

Found in the unanswered questions

Found in the road you choose to take

 

Lead it well, lead it far

Lead it wild, lead it sweet

Yet all must lead to another’s heart

Otherwise, it won’t be led at all.

Smooth flow with an elegant thought. I especially like the last stanza. It was brilliant, though quite deep. You're poem has a strong sense of knowledge about life in general. It's an interesting read.
