You're not gone

You're not gone

A Poem by Caddie O'brien

You’re not gone
You are here with me in my heart
My dreams
My thoughts
Sometimes your voice comes through my cell phone
You’re not gone
You are away
You are working
You cannot be near me
(And oh how I wish you were near me)
But you’re not gone
You are here with me in my heart
And in my daydreams
And when you come near
You will be here with me again
And then I will feel complete.

this is so deep and heartfelt! I know the feeling- it's so hard to cut that tie that remains long after it's over. Nice poem, thanks!
