In the Loosing

In the Loosing

A Poem by Not Afraid of Bruises
"

written for someone...

"

perhaps when light crosses with

a darker light I will

see your shadow again,

long and light and

feathering a train of fabric -

your hair loose in the wind.

I remember still, though you

do not expect or wish

or even hope...

I remember, quite well.

the loosing of you has

left a deep waste

inside of me,

soil which can never sustain life again.

and it scars me,

life trips my confident step in the

loosing of you.

At first I had thought that you had merely mistaken the word 'losing' into 'loosing' (that happened when I merely scanned this) but reading the piece one more time I realized how wrong I was... I love the idea of this piece, the thought of losing a person due to releasing him seems even more regretful and sad... a bit more powerful than the usual sad stuff in the site.

lovely... i really liked the use of the word 'loosing' - how unique and original. it's like a step past 'losing' - and almost more of a choice, which is oftentimes even harder... ::sigh: lovely job!

how fantastic is that!?!?

love it, my dear
