untitled (couldn't find the time)

A Poem by Krabel
"

regret peom I suppose

"

language at the core, strong language at the core

economy

of words we never spoke

of words left behind

of drinks we should have drunk, of youth!

but we couldn't ever find the words

or the time.

My first thought is about the lack of title...or excellent selection FOR the title...
Reading this with the mindset that it is a "regret" poem, it takes on a life of its own. Unspoken words, missed communication, youth. I can interpret this in my own way, and yet again, it may differ from what you intended or what others would get. I thoroughly appreciate how your style manages to do that repeatedly. The emphasis on "youth!" right before the blunt descent into the lost time was a rather striking contrast, and something that stuck out to me after reading it a few times.

I think you will fit right in at Writerscafe.
