A Poem by caterpillar
"

an evening at the taproom

"

the door, once again
wedged open allows
cold whispers
whistles to sneak
inside.

it is duty for off-clock
doormen, crooked lips
shifting glances, weak
smiles, first chances
peel pockets from
vinyl cushions, galumpf
two long-leg strides
secure the exit and
sigh. someone has to be
that guy.

he walks like he owns the place
and he hardly even tries.

You definitely have a way with words. The rhythm and line breaks make it smooth.
