Angel in Disguise

Angel in Disguise

A Poem by Calvin Trilles
"

I wrote this for my friend. He and his girl had been struggling because of many complications. Yet, I've always seen his unconditional love for his girl.

"

Angel, Angel in disguise,

How you caught me by surprise.

After when God rolled the dice

I saw His art with my own eyes.

So glad were the windows to the soul

As it glances over a delight.

When heaven's shadows conceal

Her face that seems unreal.

Oh Angel in disguise,

What have you done?

Cupid pledged it wasn't him

And that his arrows never struck.

So deep is the well that is love

And mine reached the flooring.

Your face, your eyes immortalized

So long, until my demise.

Angel, Angel in disguise,

How you caught me by surprise.

Don't fly away yet, or never

For I am inlove with you forever.
