Making Sense

Making Sense

A Poem by nevershoutnever.
"

Why would I ever let go?

"
You left me,
waiting there patiently
for you,
you who never comes.
I stood.
I sat.
I cried.
I lied.
I made mistakes,
ones that I would
do anything to repay.
Your love was
the best thing
that had ever
happened to me,
why did I
even let go,
in the first place?
Just to be
with you,
makes my world
spin around,
out of control.
Tell me how
all your love
was really a lie
so all this pain
I went through
suddenly makes sense.

I really love the structure of this, it's broken, much like the the emotion of the piece. Very well written.
