A Poem by Anonymous 79

we seek honesty but lie every day wish we were braver when we hide away the brightest smile hides the saddest tears we see so much less clearly when the fog clears broken heart but we want to fall in love oversize hoodie that fits like a glove "we're fine" when we feel broken want to scream but leave it unspoken wolf wearing sheep's clothing kind smile full of loathing vicious rumors spread right in front of our faces want to run away but we're stuck running in place surrounded by people, still we're alone sometimes the house where we live just isn't home a single word can be worth more than a diamond we find can beauty where others see dandelions finding clarity in something vague the brightest moment in the darkest day peace in the chaos of falling apart and in every ending, a chance to restart
