Duke Firefly Poetry Episode 16

I only speak my mind

on specific occasions

for my feelings are known

to cause serious abrasions

especially to the people

whose spirits are foul

I can tear their souls from their skin

and even make the ladies howl

yeah I make the ladies howl

I’m what they call a Lucky Strike

I won’t tell you what that means

but it’s something that they like

but enough about me

I hear you’re spreading the news

that old Duke Firefly

does nothing but booze

well let me tell it how I see it

since I have the time

it ain’t about the alcohol

it’s about the hint of the lime

its about the details in life

and I’m all about that

so I hope you just got informed

through my little rhyming chat

but if you still got a problem

I suggest that we fight

then we’ll see who’s wrong

then we’ll see who’s right
