Song of Myself

Song of Myself

A Poem by cassandra violet

What I’ve done?

Never lost sight of love,

Seen the darkest hour,

Danced wildly,

Found a means of expression,

Loved myself.

What is my religion?

Passion,

Emotions,

Nature,

Beauty,

The world,

My soul.

What do I fear?

Rejection,

Pain,

Tears,

Time,

Uncertainty,

Tragedy.

What do I love?

The man I body of,

Flowers that thrust their kiss through dirt,

A sublime sunrise,

Unexplored shadows,

Music from bells of laughter,

My heart.

What will I do before I die?

See the world,

Change it,

Love with madness,

Feel every emotion,

Know how it feels to be alive,

Become who I am.

To beautiful for words... intimate and honest.. reaching for life's bounty only to find it already within your heart...

About
I hate this part. This is the part where I try to tell you who I am, what I've been and what I want with every single last milimeter of blood dancing in my veins to become- the person who my heart bea.. more..
