Yellow

Yellow

A Poem by Cass

The color of her golden locks, glowing in the sun.
The shine of her eyes, when your lips touch her.
The scent of the sunflowers that she gives to you on the first date.
And the umbrella you hold together, on that fateful rainy night.
They say its the color of the mucus in her lungs, the s**t she coughs up.
It's the color of the dress she wears, when you say your final goodbye.
