Every now and then
More than fleeting moments
Thoughts collide together
All at once
Absence swallows time

The void expands
Filling the space
Forever left open
Strength's resolve weakens
Memories too quickly unwind

Panic and fear
Strike heavy and hard
Reality of reality
A loneliness, longing
Moment words fail to define
