Profession Comparison

Profession Comparison

A Poem by Tenten

when he dreamed of demons i imagined the man next door
when he stood on park way benches preaching of gods and glory through his eyes
i thought of the moon, her glow in starlit nights, i thought of cricket songs and pen ink
when he vanished from sight i dictated life by clicks of keyboards and lighters
now moving past those wounded nostalgic eyes
i wonder on new faces hoping for the loves of past to stay present
beyond the stars i dream and hands that mean a kiss
exist in ticks and tocks more than nine and two beyond eleven and seven
to dirt roads and rail road tracks
dancing

I LIKED HOW YOU CONVEY THIS...THE COMPARISON IN THE BEGINNING LINES AS YOU TELL US THE STORY AND THEN TELL US FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE AFTER THAT...
