He is Everywhere

I searched the forest for sunlight

and learned it is not there

the trees covered up the sun

so I found it elsewhere

I searched the desert for water

but the parched land gave it away

so I trodded on further

and then found some by the bay

I searched a murderer for kindness

but his heart was freezing stone

my hand jerked back in shock

I probably should've known

I carried on further

to see where G-d was found

but I could not find a place

where He was not around
