pain walks through me

pain walks through me

A Poem by chance2

from death I will walk forth to a paradise
from life i will walk a seemingly endless hell
I go forward for the light in the blackness
         through emptiness i wade
knowing one day i will be whole
blood shall stain my eyes from my own arrogance
still i walk, hoping i will see yet again
               for i must see again

this is... a metaphor. correct? If I am reading a metaphor, then this is amazing. From a particular standpoint, I can see exactly what this poem or metaphor is implying. If you look at this poem from a person who has gone through a lot of pain's point of view, you can really grasp what this poem is truly about. This is precisely what I love about this poem. Not anyone who reads it will be able to understand what this poem is implying. Great write, great read. overall, fantastic job. well put.
