IN MY SLEEP

IN MY SLEEP

A Poem by charles Jenkins

I closed my eyes the other night

And I seen your face again,

Yo told about life up there

With all your new friends,

You lft us all alone down here

Wondering howyou are,

You told us about the bible

There you won't be to far,

You are close enough to hear and see

But, still too far to touch,

I just hope you and Warren remember me

When I am not that tough,

For you two are the ones I see

Every night in my sleep.

very nice, it reads very much like the children's prayer "Now I lay me down to sleep." Your words have a soothing rhythm that reminds us very much of those who love us from Above.

Love it, just clean up the typos and you're good to go:

saw instead of seen
You instead of yo
left instead of lft
how you instead of howyou
Did you mean That you won't be too far instead of There you won't be to far ...?
