Plagued.

Plagued.

A Poem by M. M. Lovar
"

Afraid these coincedences were just that.

"
It leaves a lasting impact,
The feel of your lips against the temple of my skin.
Sudden and soft,
As a brief glaze of wind.

I lean into the sweetness, a second of bliss.

Shock and wonder fill my senses,
urging me to begin.

Tiny fireworks explode beneath my skin.

Then the wariness creeps in.

The danger whispers to me from within,
As I try to decifer fact from fiction.

Like a dream I'm transported into your world of pretend,

awaiting to transcend,

With a fear of waking to an end,

When it has hardly began.

But, I'll see you again.
