As I lay curled up in a ball

As I lay curled up in a ball

A Poem by rcat

As I lay curled up in a ball
I contemplate the shattering of my life

As I lay curled up in a ball
you crossed the line

As I lay curled up in a ball
It was beyond expectation

As I lay curled up in a ball
were they worth it

As I lay curled up in a ball
how was I lacking

As I lay curled up in a ball
you are in pain and grief

As I lay curled up in a ball
you take desperate measures

As I lay curled up in a ball
I miss everything we had

As I begin to uncurl from the ball
can I forgive

As the ball on my bed unfurls
I feel stronger

As I lay a little straighter
I question trust and forgiveness

As I lay outstretched
there is wiggle room in my heart

As I sit up
you are still my love

As I stand up from the bed
I want to try

About
I've admittedly never written before coming here. I just find myself now with the time - and plenty of experiences. Writing only seemed the right thing to do. Thankyou dear boy friend for encouraging .. more..
