Walking with Happiness

The mermaid was on a rock and was listening to The best pessimist's Walking with happiness. It gave her the vibe of "walking" & getting married. Just as she was enjoying it, the song came to its end.

With her eyes closed

she can see him on his bended knee

as she walked towards him

he took a few deep breaths

calming his trembling hands

With her eyes closed

she sees him raising his hands on the air

revealing an elegant-looking box

as she was getting closer to him

she had a glimpse of a simple-looking ring

With her eyes closed

she sees him smiling  at her

as she walked down the aisle

they were in the church

but she thought it looked better in the beach

with the sun almost kissing the sea

With her eyes closed

she sees him standing at the other end

looking at her, only looking at her

patiently waiting for her

as tears flowed down his face

With her eyes closed

she sees him wiping off those happy tears

as she excruciatingly walked slowly

down the aisle, towards him

only towards him

With her eyes closed

she can see his expectant eyes

never leaving hers

as he gently took her hand

he leaned down and whispered,

"You look so beautiful, my love"

With her eyes closed

she sees him by her side

hands never leaving hers

as they walked side by side

towards Him

and through Him

they became one

With her eyes closed

she can see him and he was hers

but the song has come to reach its end

and she had no choice but to finally

unshut her eyes

With her eyes open

she can't see him 

"us" is nonexistent

and all she could do

was to miss him terribly

With her eyes open

she can't see him waiting for her

commitment doesn't scare her anymore

she's finally ready

but he's not there anymore

With her eyes open

she can't see him at her side

but she can see him with another

she shifted her attention

realizing that she has reached her destination

With her eyes open

she can't see him

still she walked and walked

until she has reached the edge of everything

With her eyes close

With her eyes open

either way

she has decided

she didn't want to walk anymore

she wanted to fly

and so she did

Idek maybe I should have stopped writing when she finally unshut her eyes so she could have stayed alive? idk idk idk idek
