Planes

Planes

A Poem by Chelsea
"

For my Grandpa, who lost his life to a plane crash. And any others!

"

Planes

Engine steadily purrs

Propellers keep us airborne

Flying above the world

As if it were some model like terrain

 The engines halt!

We plummet

To our graves

Author's Note

Chelsea
I wrote this poem for my Grandpa, whom I never met, he died in a plane crash. He was the pilot! So this is dedicated to him.
I wrote it short, just so it would be hard hit. A lot of people lose their lives to this, so I wanted to capture the reality. Please tell me what you thought.

I have always like Aviation, my grandfather was in the Air Force from 55-63. He is still alive I liked his stories when i was a kid and still do to this day. My condulences to you about your grandfather. As I have said before no one should have to go through losing a relative. Great Work.

It is short, it didn't flow to well, but it did fly high in the sky, i'm sure your grandfather would have loved it.

The honor of being able to fly in the sky is always dangerous. I did a lot of jumping from helicopter in the Army. Nothing as wonderful as to be alone with the air and feeling free. I'm sorry for your Grandfather death. A man or woman who enjoyed their life must test the limits of life and death. A very short and powerful poem. Thank you.
