Lost Identification

"

Yet another english assignment

"

"Licence and insurance please." The police officer said in a monotonous drone.

"Of course," I said. "Just hang on a sec." I rifled through the glove compartment expecting to see the neccesary papers, but they weren't in there. I looked in the ash tray, it wasn't there either. I was getting worried, where had mom put that stupid thing. I felt under both seats and on the dash board, but it was nowhere to be found. I leaned over and told the police officer, "Um, I can't seem to find my insurance, but I can give you my licence.' I pulled out my wallet and searched through my cards, it wasn't there, and then I remembered leaving it on the microwave. I turned to him and whispered, " Uh-Oh!!"
