Ocean Candy

Ocean Candy

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A fantasy poem.

"

Ocean Candy

Round rings of pineapple

Float in the ocean

As I swim in my purple

Polka dot bikini.

The sugar sand's

Fine grains of purple

Grape pixie dust

sparkle in the sun.

Red cheeked surfers

Glide through

The magic blue

Ocean bubbles

On their

Banana taffy surfboards

Until the sun sets.

Soon the lemon slice

Of moon appears

And sheds his nostalgic

Moon tears

Of lemon drops

All over the

Glistening sea.

Licorice

Dolphins of grey

Frolic and play

As schools of

Red swedish

Fish swerve by.
