The Sea

Oceans of water

Flow over me

 

Royal blue as far

As the eye can see

 

Treasures

Tucked beneath

 

Jewels for

Curing the body

 

Food to

Fill the belly

 

Salt to give

 Life season

 

Cool liquid to

Restore a sense of peace

 

Joy that brings people

Together to enjoy the sea

 

Take me back to the sea,

To my humanity

 

The sea gives

Me back my sanity

 

Unending are the waves

Of the tumultuous sea

I love the ocean for all its tranquility and its strength. I find the sound of the waves calming and a storm over the ocean is quite beautiful. I love how you show the different life sustaining things that the ocean has to offer. This paints a beautiful scene in my mind.

Picture looks like the Oregon Coast. Remember driving up it at 5:30 in the morning in 1984, and having about 30 sheep like big balls of cotton on the hillside, observing me with a bit of disdain as I took pictures.
