last romance

last romance

A Poem by Priyabrata Nayak
"

romance of a man with his lost wife in his imagination.

"

have you ever try to kiss an angel

under bright moonlight

and dance with her

step by  step it feels so right

it is your best lovely night.

cool breeze makes her more darling

her alluring eyes

oh' swiftly you became more caring

to kiss her cherry lips

is the best dream come true

holding her sweet hand forever

is the best thing you can do.

dressed like a princess

body like a goddess

i want to love you like they never do

oh' is this the passion

or the obsession for you.

Thunder in my head

my eyes are open now

your eyes are hunting

thinking of you is so tormenting

gun in my hand

is this the end

little tear came out

when the gun shot fired

even this feels so right

as my last gasp pass away

again i dance with the angel under pale moonlight.

A good effort, the first half of this poem was very good. You craft some beautiful imagery with your words. The second half came down like a hammer, startling me a bit. But the way it ended was beautiful in a sad way. Very good work. :)
