I Had A Dream

In the dream when the speaker found their lover, the lover kept making up excuses and pushing the speaker away.

I had a dream of our love.
My dream was dark, I couldn't see.
I walked in the darkness trying to find you.
When I did I ran into your arms.
Then all of a sudden you faded away
Like the stars before sunrise.


The profound love that we had,
Died like a supernova.
What happened to our love?
We were two lovers, you and I.
I never thought our love would end.
All the days that I was happy
By being with you are gone.


This dream is a nightmare of distress.
