Shepherd and his Love

Shepherd and his Love

A Poem by Tshogyal Moktan
"

Here nature is described. How a shepherd describes his love and things around him.

"
She is extraordinary, indeed a fairy...
she makes birds to sing, leaves to chime....
buffaloes to moo
and makes air so sweet....ah! red wine....

Drifting scent of jasmine....
filling the silence of summer evening....
she asks bamboos to murmur waves....
and forgives the cattle making winters dusty...

Folks work in their fields, with cracked heels....
though they got boots and jeans.....
with a catapult, I whistle.....
walking with my flock, puttin arms around her.....

The lambs; they jump and so do I.....
she smiles and takes a breathe....
that's when winds blow by.....
she moves her bathed silky wet hair.....
that's when I feel sudden rain....

It gets difficult for me to explain.....
and difficult for her to understand.....
my flock understands and tries to explain....
being feminine, she keeps on running....

Some bleat, some smile, some cry.....
I talk to them, they answer through their eyes....
Nature asks why I linger so lonely....
though she knows, I am her love.....

As I am a Shepherd .....and Nature's my Love.......

What a beautiful love poem, the greatness of their love like the very weddings of a sweet day, you talk to them they answer , the revelation is that Nature is your love, what can I say more, what a sadness overtakes my heart, and deep gratitude for reading so many lines, it is better not to say anything
