Depth of my heart

Depth of my heart

A Poem by Tshogyal Moktan

It came like never before,
confused a bit, for it was to cure....
Her eyes asked me; so many questions,
some remained unanswered, now my eye moistens....

Some bandit was there, who stabbed her heart,
I believe my care heals it, perhaps that's my art....
The unbalanced society disregards the relationship,
even though, I'm sure I'll continue to leap....

My love for her will always remain eternal,
how pity I can't show, for it is internal....
I know its the same from her side,
and whatever she says I'll always abide....

Her eyes are innocent and heart so pure,
I hope we can make the society to lure....
Still in my bed and I'm missing her a lot,
tears fill my eyes, thinking the fights we'd fought....

My love.....I'll always treasure you,
I'll cherish safely like a leaf holds the dew....
Let's live the present and enjoy together,
don't you worry about the future;
for I'll be there forever and ever......
