Love

Love

A Poem by Moon

Love
Walks on the beach.
The book you couldn't put down;
the one you'd still read over and over.
Questions,
you took them for granted.
Friends.
A lover.
Thoughts, memories-- like stained-glass,
their cells expand
with distance,
with time - still,
each morning you wake
to their glow;
those blues and greens;
tints of yellow mixed with red,
proof Love still exists long
after memory can admit.
And some say it's these things shape us;
others say it's the no-things;
I say it's a task of the two-
when outlines fade;
distance and light - just right;
and those thoughts you had five seconds ago --
not to be applied too soon.
Something.
Nothing.
Somethingnothing.
Like real life,
can make you wonder - this journey, if who's, it is.

This poem is full of emotion in the beginning, then it gets very insightful at the end. I think the ending is perfect because it made me ponder. A beautiful piece of writing. I really enjoyed reading this!
