Tears of the Soul

Tears of the Soul

A Poem by Souls Set Aflame
"

one more of my songs, once again a christian hardcore/metal song, hope everyone likes it, but if not, thats totally cool, u no? lol

"

Thoughts consume me

Wondering about this and that

Words breaking me down

Beating me up

Smothering me

Destroying me

Destroying my very being

My heart turns black

My very soul weeps

You've been killing yourself

With your stupid actions

You've shot yourself down

Killing two birds with one stone

By destroying your heart

Destroying your soul

You're dying now

Alone and cold you are

Your life clock is ticking away

You've waited too long

Now you're too late

You're dreams have passed you by

And you just stood there

Watching and waving them on

You had no intentions of chasing them

Now you wish you had

SO SAD

This song or poem is incredible. Your words are unique as you try to reach out and let someone see mistakes and hopefully they will turn in their ways. You have so many wonderful verses, very meaningful as well.
I like the rhythm and tempo here...
"Words breaking me down
Beating me up
Smothering me
Destroying me
Destroying my very being
My heart turns black
My very soul weeps "
...This is truly beautiful writing!

wow! Deep. Understandable. Enlightening. Loved it. Especially this..
"You're dreams have passed you by

And you just stood there

Watching and waving them on"
-If people let it, this might speak to them
great work!
