The Most Important Aspect of Life

The most important aspect of Life,

No matter how young or old you are.,

Is to always have something in which to look forward to.

Be it as big as a large planned venue with friends or family.,

A holiday trip, by car, boat or aeroplane.,

Or simply just waiting for that parcel to arrive for something so desired.

That cold chicken awaiting in the fridge, a reply from somebody you've contacted.

It doesn't matter the velocity of any expectations.,

It just matters, large or small, that you always have something to look forward to.

This is excellent and so true. I try to explain this to my Mother who is in a wheelchair and feels she can't do anything but sit home. I tell her she has to have something to look forward to, even if it's just going to lunch with a friend. We need something to live for. Great message!

You're right Donna.,

You need to tell your mum that she needs to plan for the days ahead, even if its just around her home.

Take on a task that might seem hard but then feel so good about it once it has been done.

This morning I awoke not feeling so good. I planned to do my big shop tomorrow. But today was so beautiful, I pushed myself out to go ahead and do it. It turned out to be such a wonderful day and I feel so great that I achieved it.

So apart from 'Having something to look forward to' – 'Spontaneity' is also a good thing in life.

I connected with your story. I agree that most people are happier if they have something to look forward to. I enjoyed your story. One way that you might improve your writing would be to make it longer.

I do believe that this is the best way to live and I try to fulfill it all the time.,

I mean take my miserable life at aged 70.,

Today is Wednesday and I hate Wednesdays.

It's the middle of the week with all good things past and a long time ahead for the weekend.

I woke up from a good sleep. Looked at my television paper for today (Wednesday). Nothing but rubbish on from morn til' dusk and on all my many satellite channels that cost me a monthly fortune.

I could just go back to bed and sleep off boring Wednesday but then I looked for something else to fill my day. I went out to the shops early but there was a cold chilly breeze blowing from the sea (here in Bournemouth UK), so I was not keen to venture far.

What else could I do instead?

My flat is spotless and all my washing is done. I don't want to go through all my old photographs as that might get me down and lead me to going out and purchasing a bottle or two.

Though that might prove itself to be an advantage spontaneity that might end up with me being arrested and meeting some very interesting people in jail.

A day to always remember.

No. Instead I decided to clip my wings and turn to what I love best..,

Writing!

I wrote a letter to my local newspaper (as I have done ever since 1980), about latest concerns.

I am well-known here for my letters to my local newspaper.

I enjoyed answering other letters at that newspaper site and then responding here at my favourite writing site.

So now, I have pretty much filled up my day.,

Tomorrow is Thursday – much better TV but who knows what I might end up doing as each morning we arise – it's a bran-new day and it is all part of our lifetime.
